As Independence Day draws closer, Casa on the Beach is running low on available condos for July! This month promises some exciting events for the City of Port Aransas that you won’t want to miss, including 4th of July fireworks and the 80th Annual Deep Sea Roundup!
The City of Port Aransas will be hosting an impressive fireworks display on Independence Day from 9:00-10:00 PM. Visitors can enjoy the show at the Roberts Point Park, which is also a hotspot for fishing and dolphin watching. Rumor has it that you should be able to view the extravaganza from anywhere in the city!
The 80th Annual Deep Sea Roundup takes places from July 9th through July 12th. The Deep Sea Roundup is one of the oldest coastal fishing tournaments, and features contests for all ages. Competitions include bay-surf and offshore contests, as well as a piggy perch for children. A silent auction will take place during the event, and an awards ceremony will be held upon its conclusion. Late registration for the tournament will be conducted at Woody’s Sports Center on Saturday, July 10th.
For those who just need a break from the hustle and bustle of work, come hit the beach! The Coastal Bend Area beaches have been deemed safe for visitors by the Nueces County Public Health Department, and reports state, “Coastal Bend Area parks and beaches are in great shape and among the healthiest beaches on the Texas Gulf Coast.” Casa on the Beach is the perfect place to relax, as we are located right on the beach and even have rinse-off stations for your personal use when entering or exiting the water.
